The Chicago Bears will get back to their roots this summer, as the team will be holding a training practice at a suburban high school.
On Aug. 22, the Bears will conduct a practice at Vernon Hills High School, the team officially announced Wednesday. The practice will be open to the public, but tickets will be required for fans to get in.
According to the Bears, there will be plenty of activities going on around the practice, including family friendly entertainment and a fireworks show following the practice.
Parking lots and gates around the high school will open at 4 p.m., and practice will begin at 6 p.m. Parking and shuttles will be available at the American Hotel Register Company, located at 1000 South Milwaukee, the Bears said.
Tailgating will not be permitted.
Tickets will be made available on July 18 at 10 a.m., the Bears aid. Tickets will be first come, first served, and will all be general admission.
