Eight new players have been drafted into the Chicago Blackhawks’ system, and we introduce you to some of them here.
The Chicago Blackhawks will kick off their preseason schedule on Sept. 18 against the Columbus Blue Jackets, and it will be one of six games that will be televised during the exhibition slate.
In fact, every one of the Blackhawks’ preseason games will be aired on either WGN or NBC Sports Chicago’s air, and fans will get a firsthand look at the team as they prepare for the 2018-19 season.
Here is the full schedule:
Sept. 18: at Columbus 6 p.m. NBC Sports Chicago Plus
Sept. 20: at Detroit 6:30 p.m. WGN
Sept. 21: at Ottawa 6:30 p.m. NBC Sports Chicago
Sept. 25: vs. Detroit 7:30 p.m. NBC Sports Chicago Plus

Sept. 27: vs. Ottawa 7:30 p.m. NBC Sports Chicago Plus
Sept. 29: vs. Columbus 7 p.m. WGN
The Blackhawks will get the regular season underway on Oct. 4 when they play the Ottawa Senators. Their home schedule will begin Oct. 7 when they welcome the Toronto Maple Leafs to the United Center.
