A man died early Monday after falling from the Radisson Blu Hotel/Aqua building in the Loop.
Zachary Lammers, 27, fell from the 56th floor of the building, at 221 N. Columbus Dr., to the pool deck below, police said.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed the death but couldn’t provide any more details by 5:30 a.m.
Police said the incident appeared to be an accident..
Aqua, an 82-story residential and commercial building, was in 2009 named by Emporis as the best new skyscraper for design and functionality.
