Chicago’s burritos may not be as famous as the city’s pizzas and hot dogs, but that didn’t stop them from being named among the top burritos in the country.
The Daily Meal released its list of the “35 Best Burritos in America” and Chicago managed to nab three spots on the list.
One tasty tortilla wrap was even named among the top five burritos in the nation—the Carne Asada burrito at L’Patron in the city’s Logan Square neighborhood.
Two other Chicago burritos also made the list, with the Chorizo burrito at Irazu ranking at no. 25 and the Super Lomo burrito at La Pasadita rounding out the list at no. 34.
The Daily Meal said qualifying burritos needed to include fresh ingredients, a good selection of meats and add-ons and customization.

Snagging the top spot and “best burrito” title was the Chile Relleno Burrito at Los Angeles’ La Azteca Tortilleria.
