Whatever snow the area may get Tuesday night will taper off by dawn on Wednesday morning, likely leaving behind somewhere between 1 and 3 inches of accumulation. A few snow showers are still possible in the afternoon in northwest Indiana, and the entire area will remain cold, with highs in the mid- to upper- teens.
We'll see another overcast day and cold day Thursday, marked by even more afternoon or evening snow. Light snow is also possible Friday, with some accumulation likely - though temperatures will be slightly warmer than the previous days with highs in the upper 20s. [[472859553, C]]
Over the weekend, warmer temperatures, even reaching the 30s, could bring a slushier mix, as light snow could mix with light rain late Saturday.
