Due to impending weather, the Chicago White Sox game with the Detroit Tigers has been postponed Saturday.
The game, originally set to take place Saturday evening, will be made up as part of a split doubleheader on July 3, the White Sox announced in a press release.
All game tickets, parking passes, and Stadium Club passes for Saturday’s game will be honored for a 1:10 p.m. game on July 3, the team said. The originally scheduled game that evening, which starts at 7:10 p.m., will require a separate ticket.
The José Abreu bobblehead, which was set to be given away before Saturday’s game, will also be available at the make-up contest in July.
The weather forecast for the game was always in doubt, as rainy weather will slowly give way to snow across the region on Saturday evening.
