Fans of former Weezer bassist Mikey Welsh may not have been completely shocked by his death over the weekend. Welsh dreamt about it and tweeted it.
On Sept. 26, Welsh posted on his Twitter account, "dreamt i died in chicago next weekend (heart attack in my sleep). need to write my will today."
Welsh was found dead in a Chicago hotel room Saturday afternoon.
A drug overdose is the suspected cause of death, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner, but a Sunday autopsy was inconclusive pending toxicology reports.
Welsh was discovered on the floor of his room at the Raffaello Hotel by staffers after he was late for checking out.
Despite Welsh's death, Weezer played its headlining Riotfest show Sunday night at the Congress Theatre.
