The funeral and visitation have been scheduled for a pregnant northern Illinois woman and her three sons who were killed in a traffic crash.
The Kankakee Daily Journal reports that Hack Funeral Home says the visitation will be Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Crete for Lindsey Schmidt and her sons. The 29-year-old woman died July 25 in the crash near Beecher along with 6-year-old Owen, 4-year-old Weston and 18-month-old Kaleb.
Their funeral will be at the church Wednesday followed by burial at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Crete.
Schmidt and her son Kaleb died at the scene. Owen and Weston were put into medically induced comas and later died at a Chicago hospital.
Authorities have said they are investigating the crash and trying to determine if criminal charges should be filed.
