Former Chicago Bulls star Jimmy Butler gave out his phone number during his introductory press conference with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday, and true to his word he made himself available to fans looking to speak to him.
Butler, who was traded to the Timberwolves at the NBA Draft earlier this month, posted an Instagram video in which he is seen using FaceTime with a fan:
“Taking all calls, and y’all thought it was a game!” Butler said on the social media platform.
After Butler’s phone number reveal, several people came forward with stories about how they had gotten phone numbers and messages intended for the former Bulls star.
There’s no telling how many messages and calls the star forward got, but one thing is for sure: he looked to literally prove that he would answer the calls of his critics, and that’s what he did.
