Liam Adams of Australia ran his 2:13:49 personal best in Scotland at the Glasgow 2014 Marathon.
“I am not going to Chicago to run a Rio Olympics Marathon qualifier (2.12.30),” Adams said. “I am going to Chicago to run a massive PB, and I am in the shape to do so.”
His accomplishments include seven appearances at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships.
