Lollapalooza wants you to know the wait is almost over.
Organizers said Friday they plan to release the official lineup for the Grant Park music festival more than a week early, at noon on Monday. Even bigger news for those who missed out on three-day passes, single-day tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. April 3 instead of April 9.
It's not clear whether the early release was prompted by a photo of a supposed magazine ad depicting the lineup.
The leak, which some publications verified, showed The Cure, Mumford & Sons, The Killers, Nine Inch Nails, Phoenix, The Postal Service, Vampire Weekend and New Order headlining.
Other acts include Queens of the Stone Age, The Lumineers, The National and Kendrick Lamar, as well as Lana Del Rey, Local Natives, Tegan & Sara, Cat Power, Foals and Grizzly Bear.
All three-day passes were sold in less than three hours. Organizers said this is the first time in festival history that passes sold out before the lineup was released.
Lollapalooza kicks off Aug. 2 in Grant Park through Aug. 4.
