A bomb threat emailed to the Lyric Opera of Chicago was determined Thursday to be not credible, officials said.
The message was sent to the ticketing department about 2 p.m., a Lyric Opera spokesperson said. Chicago police were called and a bomb-sniffing dogs were brought to the scene.
It was determined by authorities that there was not legitimate threat and no explosives were found, officials said.
The building was not evacuated and there were no injuries.
No other information was immediately available.
