Madonna is selling out fast in Chicago.
In response, the Material Girl has added a second Chicago show as part of her 2012 world tour.
Madonna will now perform Sept. 20 at the United Center as well as the originally scheduled Sept. 19 performance. Tickets for both shows went on sale at 10 a.m. Monday.
The stop in Chicago makes two of 28 North American shows. The Madonna World Tour 2012 begins May 29 in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Madonna, who has sold more than 300 million albums, is certainly not a virgin when it comes to performing. Holding the record for the most successful tour by a solo artist, her 2008-2009 tour grossed $408 million, and her 2006 tour fetched $194 million.
The tour will help promote Madonna's newest album, "MDNA," due to be released March 26 on Live Nation Entertainment/Interscope Records.
Tickets to her Chicago concerts are available at LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster.com, at select Live Nation and Ticketmaster outlets, and by calling 800-745-3000.
