The Republican National Committee is having a bit of fun with President Barack Obama's 49th birthday.
They released a set of mock birthday cards purportedly from the president's friends, and included in the cadre of presidential well-wishers is one guy Obama doesn't want to be associated with: Rod Blagojevich.
"Congrats on the Big Day!," the text reads. "In honor of your birthday, I decided not to testify."
It appears to be a light-hearted attempt to tie the president to the comical ex-governor and his blockbuster corruption trial. The real fireworks, however, could come Thursday if jurors announce a verdict against Blagojevich while the president is in town celebrating.
Other cards include wishes from embattled New York Congressman Charlie Rangel, Tim Geithner, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.
