At least three people were injured when a school bus and vehicle collided on Friday afternoon in Skokie, sending the bus crashing into a home, authorities said.
The crash was reported at around 1:22 p.m. in the area of Howard Street near Kildare Avenue. According to Skokie police, a school bus and vehicle collided. The bus then crashed into a home in the 4300 block of Howard Street.
People were inside the home at the time of the crash but not injured, authorities said. The driver of the school bus, as well as the driver and passenger of the car, all sustained minor injuries and were taken to area hospitals.
No passengers were on the bus at the time.
