Search to resume for missing Illinois teen following discovery of car

The search for Brissa Romero, a 17-year-old Carpentersville girl who went missing last week on her way to a holiday party, is expected to resume Tuesday morning around 8 a.m. after authorities on Monday discovered Romero’s car in a retention pond in Vernon Hills, the Vernon Hills Police Department said.
