Deadmau5 and Steve Aoki are among the headliners for this year’s Spring Awakening festival, which will celebrate its fifth anniversary in a new location in Chicago.
This year’s event, which takes place June 10-12, will be held in Addams/Medill Park, in the city’s Near West Side neighborhood, the festival announced.
The festival said scheduling conflicts prevented it from being able to hold the event in Jackson Park, where it had announced plans to move in February. The festival was previously held at Soldier Field, but the stadium is hosting an international soccer tournament in June.
The festival will feature more than 100 electronic music acts on five stages, including two main stages for the first time in the festival’s history.
Also among the headliners are Above & Beyond, Kaskade, The Chainsmokers, Dillon Francis, Carnage, Nicky Romero, DVBBS, Dash Berlin, Zeds Dead, Jamie XX, RL Grime, Flying Lotus, Crystal Castles, Flux Pavilion, Gramatik, Gesaffelstein, A-Trak and Madeon.
Three-day general admission wristbands are available for $189, plus fees.
