Early bird tickets have gone on sale for entry into the toasty, warm "beach house" at the Chi-Town Rising New Year's Eve event along the Chicago River.
The beach house, sponsored by Corona Extra, will offer guests with tickets a warm place to watch the countdown musical performances and the Rising Star as well as DJ entertainment, alcoholic beverages and a dinner buffet.
A cash bar will be available to buy beer and wine, and Ruffino Prosecco will be provided free of charge at midnight to toast the New Year.
Early bird tickets for the beach house cost $99 and can be purchased online.
Legendary rock band Chicago and alt-rock artists American Authors will headline Chi-Town Rising's main stage. The epic, first-of-its-kind New Year's Eve event will also feature a "visually spectacular countdown to 2016" and a major fireworks show, organizers said.
The ticketed event, presented by Corona Extra and hosted by Hyatt Gold Passport, will be held along the Chicago River between Michigan Avenue and Columbus Drive, with a Countdown Stage on the south side of the river and a midnight countdown featuring a giant Chicago star rising into the sky.
As the countdown begins, the star will ascend 36 stories up the Hyatt Regency Chicago's West Tower, culminating in the fireworks show.
