According to a new ranking, a Chicago suburb is one of the best places in the United States to raise a family.
That ranking, issued by Money Magazine, says that Villa Park is the eighth-best place to raise a family in the U.S.
The magazine cites the city’s local amenities, low crime rates, and modest unemployment rate as some of the reasons that it made the cut. The median home price in the city is $263,000, and other attractions like the Illinois Prairie Path, a trail that winds through the city, also were mentioned by the magazine.

North Arlington, New Jersey was named as the best place to raise a family in the country, with Monterey Park, California and Fishers, Indiana ranking behind it on the list. Fishers also ranked as the best place to live in the U.S., the magazine said.
