Vice-President Joe Biden will be in Chicago on Thursday to lead a routable discussion on health reform, White House Officials said.
The vice president be be joined by Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius in the visit to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where they'll discuss the importance of health insurance reform, including health information technology infrastructure and preventative care, with doctors, nurses, and hospital administrators.
The national coordinator for health information technology at the Health and Human Services Department, Dr. David Blumenthal, will also join the vice president.
Biden was last in Chicago just over two weeks ago, when he addressed the 2009 Naitonal Urban League Conference.
