Water Taxi Expands Route To Lincoln Park

New service to run during weekday morning and evening rush hours

Commuters now have a new option when it comes to riding the Chicago Water Taxi.

Officials with the Wendella Sightseeing Company unveiled a new Goose Island stop on North Avenue Wednesday.

The route will travel back and forth from the Ogilvie/Union stop to Goose Island.

Officials say the expansion to the north was prompted by the Wrigley headquarters moving its headquarters from Michigan Avenue to Lincoln Park. Many Wrigley employees had used the Water Taxi during their commute to and from work.

The new route officially started on Tuesday, and will be utilized during the weekday morning and afternoon rush hours.
