Whitney Houston may have been waiting to exhale when the strap on her dress snapped mid-TV performance.
The diva was singing on the U.K.-based television show "X Factor" when the strap on her floor-length silver sequined dressed broke on stage during her rendition of "Million Dollar Bill."
The wardrobe malfunction caused the singer to stop briefly and fumble with the strap but she didn't miss a beat and continued with the song.
"I sang myself out of my clothes," Houston quipped after the performance.
It was Houston's first UK TV appearance in 12 years, according to The Daily Mail (U.K.) and comes just a month after the release of her first album in seven years, "I Look to You."
It wasn't the first time the 46-year-old diva had her comeback marred by a shoddy performance. In what was billed as her comeback concert, the singer's voice cracked and she struggled to hit the high notes during a televised three-song performance on ABC's "Good Morning America" in early September.
She apologized to the thousands of fans who had waited for hours to hear the Grammy-Award winner, whose career has been plagued by her destructive relationship with Bobby Brown and a drug addiction that threatened her career.
