Chicago is a hot bed for hot dog enthusiasts, and in honor of National Hot Dog Day, one of the world’s most iconic vehicles is being made available to rent on AirBNB.
According to Oscar Mayer, their iconic Wienermobile can be booked for one night stays on Airbnb, with the listing officially going live on July 24.
The vehicle, described as a “27 foot-long hot dog on wheels,” will be tricked out with a bed and other furniture for those lucky enough to stay within its orange and yellow environs, and the experience can be had for the low price of $136 for the night.
Those looking to stay in the Wienermobile can do so on Aug. 1, 2 or 3, according to the company.
If those dates sound familiar, there is a good reason for that: the Wienermobile's availability coincides with the first three days of Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago.
The vehicle will be parked near the city's downtown area for the memorable experience, and although there isn’t a bathroom inside, there is one positioned just outside of the temporary residence.
A mini-fridge inside of the Wienermobile will be stocked with hot dogs and all of the fixings for a Chicago-style hot dog, and those staying in the vehicle will be given an Oscar Mayer roller grill to take home, as well as a goodie bag to commemorate their stay.
As the dates are extremely limited, they are expected to sell out quickly.
