More than one million people line the route of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon each year -- and each year many of them bring some incredible signs to help runners as they battle through the 26.2-mile course.
And the 2024 Chicago Marathon was no different.
As they did in years past, spectators showed up with both inspiring and hilarious signs to cheer on runners as they race to the finish line. Here's a selection of a few of them:
