Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant has duped unsuspecting Lyft passengers and done promos while working on a farm, but he took his love of pranks to another level in a new video.
The location of Bryant’s latest foray into mischief was Mesa Community College, a junior college baseball powerhouse located near the Cubs’ spring training facility at Sloan Park. In the video, Bryant disguises himself as European baseball star Roy Aberrant, and he joins the team for a batting practice session at the school.
Needless to say, his power turned some heads.
Naturally, by the end of the video, players began to realize that Bryant wasn’t a juco standout, but was instead one of the biggest stars in baseball. Obviously the Thunderbirds will not be getting Bryant’s services this season, but they probably don’t need the help: they’ve won 18 national championships and are hoping for another one this season.
