Bears' Javon Wims Gets Hilarious Edit to Wikipedia Page After Saints Fight

Jokesters updated Wims' Wikipedia page originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago

Bears wide receiver Javon Wims brought the spotlight of another bad Bears game on himself by fighting a Saints defender and getting ejected.

And it didn't take long for the internet jokesters to start whipping up jokes, including editing his Wikipedia page.

The edit says Wims made his boxing debut against the New Orleans Saints.

First of all, punching someone is unnecessary and dumb. It's especially dumb if that person is wearing a helmet, and the one throwing punches uses his hands for his profession.

Pay attention kids, pointing people in helmets is dumb.

And while unnecessary and stupid, the positive spin could be that some player is trying to show some fight. The Dallas Cowboys were ridiculed after no one came to quarterback Andy Dalton's defense after a dirty hit.

Wims appeared to be sticking up for Anthony Miller after C. J. Gardner-Johnson put his finger in his facemask earlier. Not an action that necessarily needs someone to rush to another's defense.

But as Troy Aikman said, “that’s just not smart football.”
