Memorial Day weekend this year looks drastically different from last. The sports world is no longer on hold, and there are plenty of Chicago games happening to fill your free time this holiday weekend.
The Chicago White Sox are kicking off the weekend with a series against the Baltimore Orioles and then heading to Cleveland to face the Indians in a doubleheader on Memorial Day, while the Chicago Cubs are hosting the Cincinnati Reds at Wrigley Field. The Chicago Sky will also play host as they welcome the Los Angeles Sparks to town for a two-game series over the holiday weekend.

While no Chicago teams are still competing, the NBA and NHL playoffs are in full swing, and there are some exciting matchups to tune into this weekend.
Chicago Bulls fans might be interested to see how Eastern Conference teams are faring in the NBA postseason. The Boston Celtics are heading home to host Games 3 and 4 of the first round of the NBA playoffs in TD Garden against the Brooklyn Nets. The first two games have shown why the Nets are heavy favorites to win this series. After giving Brooklyn a 2-0 lead on Tuesday, Boston will need a redemptive game from Jayson Tatum -- after he scored only nine points in the last game -- if they seek to salvage the postseason.

Trae Young and the Hawks now head home to State Farm Arena Friday night after a thrilling first two games at Madison Square Garden. After Young silenced the roaring New York crowd of 15,000 fans with a last-second dagger in Game 1, the Knicks rallied back to win Game 2 Wednesday night behind a 26-point performance from Derrick Rose.
Taj Gibson tallied six points, seven rebounds, three steals and a block while registering a game-high +23 plus-minus for the Knicks, all under the coaching of Tom Thibodeau.
