Scottie Pippen announces passing of eldest son, Antron originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago
Monday morning, former Bulls forward Scottie Pippen announced the passing of his eldest son, Antron. Antron was 33.
"I’m heartbroken to share that yesterday, I said goodbye to my firstborn son Antron," Pippen wrote on Twitter. "The two of us shared a love for basketball and we had countless conversations about the game."

The announcement prompted an outpouring of condolences from fans, friends and colleagues alike.
"A kind heart and beautiful soul gone way too soon," Pippen wrote. "I love you, son, rest easy until we meet again."
