White Sox home opener will start in rain delay originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago
White Sox fans eager to watch the home opener against the Royals will have to wait a little bit longer. The White Sox announced about one hour before the scheduled first pitch that the game would start in a rain delay.
There are no updates on the new first pitch time yet, but we will provide updates when they become available on our Twitter account, @NBCSWhiteSox.
In addition, because of the delay the Blackhawks-Stars game will begin on NBC Sports Chicago Plus 2. You can check this guide for how to tune in for puck drop at 7 p.m
