Tim Anderson tells world who his MVP is originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago
The hotly contested MVP race is nearing an end, and Tim Anderson wants you to know who's getting his vote.
Before the White Sox-Indians series opener Monday, Anderson looked directly in the camera and flashed "M-V-(backwards) P" while pointing at José Abreu.
The part that gets us is Abreu's reaction. He wanted none of it.
Abreu is the choice for many around baseball. He leads the league in RBIs and is slashing .335/.381/.651, which is a surprise for those who believed he was aging past his prime.
Of course, Anderson has quite a case himself. The reigning batting champ came into the series leading the American League in runs scored and second in average.
Whoever you side with in 2020, make sure it's a South Sider.
