Chicagoans voting by mail can drop off their ballots at one of the city's most historic venues on Tuesday.

Wrigley Field will host an official mail-in ballot drop box on Election Day, the Cubs and Chicago Board of Elections announced Friday.

Board of Elections employees will staff the drop box, which will be located at the Gallagher Way gate right outside the Friendly Confines. Voters may drop off their ballots between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.

No in-person voting will take place at the ballpark. However, the United Center will be available for same-day registration, in-person voting and ballot drop off for those voting by mail on Tuesday.

The Cubs tweeted a video, featuring outfielder Ian Happ, pitcher Alec Mills and infielder Nico Hoerner encouraging Chicagoans to vote.
