This year’s class of Bears rookies got quite a tour of their new home this week. On Friday, the team took the rooks all around Chicago, including some classic tourist highlights.
The Bears social media team shared highlights throughout the day, beginning with a trip to Soldier Field to both check out the new locker room and to kick some soccer balls, since things were still set up for the Chicago Fire.
New linebacker Noah Sewell took the opportunity to share with fans how he likes to get in the zone before a game.
That’s new cornerback Tyrique Stevenson crashing Sewell’s video to share his approval for the Bears locker room.

From there the Bears went on an architectural boat tour down the Chicago River. It’s one of the best ways to see the city and the weather appeared to be perfect for the cruise.
“It’s surreal being able to be a part of something like this,” said new wide receiver Tyler Scott. “Love the city. It’s so beautiful.”

It was back-to-back fun days for the rookies. On Thursday, head coach Matt Eberflus canceled the team’s final OTAs for a field trip to the United Center to shoot some hoops and play other games.
The rookies and the rest of the squad will be back to work soon, though. Mandatory minicamp begins on Tuesday.
