The youngsters have announced themselves on the global stage.
On Monday, 19-year-old Jude Bellingham scored a wonderful curling header off a cross into the box from Manchester United left back Luke Shaw en route to a commanding 6-2 win for England over Iran.
That goal made the rising Borussia Dortmund star one of the youngest players to score in a FIFA World Cup.
Two days later, Spanish midfielder Gavi scored his team's fifth goal en route to a 7-0 drubbing of Costa Rica. At 18 years old and 110 days, Gavi is the third-youngest goalscorer in World Cup history.

Bellingham, at 19 years and 145 days, is just outside the top 10 youngest scorers in World Cup history, with one very familiar name at the top of the list:
