Chicago-Area Residents Call Recent Mail Delays Alarming

Illinois has joined 13 other states filing a federal lawsuit challenging operational services at the United States Postal Service. This comes as President Donald Trump claims the post office cannot handle mail-in voting in the November election and Postmaster General Louis DeJoy has agreed to stop post office reforms to avoid even the appearance of interference in the election. But it is too little too late for some in our area. Many say the changes have already have already had an impact on their lives. NBC 5’s Chris Coffey reports.
