Snow started moving into the Chicago area Wednesday evening, with a winter weather advisory in effect for multiple Chicago-area counties.
The snow is expected to continue through the evening and overnight hours, leaving behind some accumulation before tapering off Thursday morning. Some lakefront locations may see lake effect showers Thursday as well.
