Chicago's Forecast: Lake-Effect Snow Hampers Monday Commute

TONIGHT: Lake effect snow showers moving south into Lake, DuPage, and Cook counties. 1 to 2 inches expected with some localized spots up to 4" near the lakefront through Monday morning. Temperatures in the mid 20s.

MONDAY: Narrow bands of lake effect snow impacts the morning commute in Chicago. Snow showers will shift into Indiana later in the day. Another inch of snow is possible with 3+" in the heavier snowbands along the lakefront. The western suburbs likely stay dry. Temperatures in the mid to upper 20s.

TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy with highs in the mid 20s.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny with highs in the low 20°.
